We had saints! We had angels! We had TANGO! We had personal testimony! We had spaghetti! ….
Dare I say … WE HAD IT ALL! Or a very close approximation thereof.

· In Music
o What a joy to have Miryana’s friend, Mark Prihodko join us to play his cello! It was SPECTACULAR! He made the rafters ring and touched our hearts with the pieces he shared … the tango especially!
o We continue to become acquainted with our new M.O.M – Miryana – and her many skills working with the Choir, on the piano and organ!
o In Testimony
o Our story of Stewardship introduced us to one of the “saints” of Kathleen Vellenga’s childhood: Viola.
· In Scripture and Proclamation
o We heard of Job’s complaint [Job 23:1-11] and the special request of disciples James & John [Mark 10:35-45]
o We explored the shift from privilege and entitlement to the stewardship of servant-hood
· In prayer
o Surrounding those grieving with our love, care and comfort – especially Beckie Gienger’s extended family in the midst of another loss – and those facing end of life circumstances: Carolyn [Vellenga] Berman’s family as her sister in law , Annie Lou, comes to the end of a four year battle with cancer
o Those facing new medical challenges: Lynn Paulfranz recovering from a broken leg
o Those continuing in long term health challenges: Lupe Trevino, Dean Pearson, Jacqui Young, Allie Smith
