Our Mission

Dayton Avenue Presbyterian Church is a diverse family exemplifying God's beloved community, joyfully welcoming all that wish to join our spiritual journey. Embracing traditional and innovative paths, we encourage one another to grow in faith through our worship, relationships and ministries. We believe we are called by Christ to demonstrate God's love and compassion by providing spiritual nurture, being an active presence in the community, meeting basic human needs, teaching the values Christ taught, and being a voice for peace and justice.

Our Vision

Dayton Avenue Presbyterian Church (DAPC) reaches beyond its church borders to support and sustain an authentic Christ-centered community that actively and joyfully engages people from all walks of life in a spirit of celebration, support and worship. DAPC:

• Provides a safe sanctuary where individuals find support, nurturing  and a community that welcomes and cherishes their unique gifts and talents.
• Inspires hope and develops the spiritual leadership of people of all ages.
• Blends a passion for social justice with a personal connection to each community member and partner.
